Golf Stress | 7:48 a.m. June 19, 2008
Are you kidding me, amateur golfers get nervous and tight about flubbing their first tee shot? Please, the only thing stressful about golf is that only the truly wealthy can afford to play at most courses, except the trashy city-run onestoo overcrowded to get any real practice. If golf is causing all you rich people so much tightness and stress, maybe you should find a more relaxing "hobby" like working 2 jobs, volunteering at a community soup kitchen or visit lonely elderly at rest homes. You'll be admired for your efforts far more than you're ever admired for your amateur drives and putts, and you will never have "first shot stress." How about spending as much time with your kids as you do leisurely cruising around lush manicured courses in your cart because walking is too pedestrian for your pampered body. Stress comes from unemployment, debt, bills, family medical issues, crime-infested neighborhoods, slummy housing, and figuring out where your family's next meal will come from. There is no "stress" in golf or any other game. Try volunteering in Darfur and maybe golf won't seem so stressful anymore.

As a golf instructer I Help others off the first tee, but when I am trying to strike a good tee shot I have goofed more than done good. A very cruel game. Only in the mind. It is a mine game and we as people are our own worst enemy. Here is my advice--You are all alone (pretend) try it.
good luck
