In the meantime as a county employee in a department who is in need of another worker (position is open) I am doing the work of 2 people. No one to cover when I take a day off, don't even want to think about vacation and no one being here to pick up the slack. I get no overtime, and I'm expected to do everything for my department in 40 hours a week. Now my problem is how do I get to the point I can just work 40 hours instead of the 42 - 45 I currently work.
See, all you people who complain about government workers are getting your money's worth out of me. I've put in an extra 39 hours so far this year with no pay.

Will anyone be proposing it?
Perhaps it could be funded by taxing households with more than one kid.
