You sure wouldnt know it with my grocery bill. I think you folks must be shopping at some pixie dust store. I spend a lot more than I did 6 monthes ago and I am not buying the same premade stuff anymore. I dont mean to be disrespectful but all of my friends and I concurr that our grocery bills ....along with the other bills are have gone up.

Of course you spent more than you did 6 months ago. The prices have increased since then. This article was only talking about the prices from last month. Personally, I think this inflation is a great way for over frivilous people to get their finances in order. What better way to learn to budget than to be forced to? Over spending has been a huge issue in this country. Credit card debt is outrageous. Eventually, prices will have to level out and people will walk away from this experience having better money management skills that will help them have a better future. The majority of the people (please do not misunderstand me, I said the majority, not all) who are in a pickle right now are in that situation because they did not prepare properly for anything negative to happen in the future. By assuming everything will stay the same (which is incredibly unrealistic) and then getting upset at everyone else for the situation you are in is simply ridiculous. The vast majority of the population have the means to save, but choose to get further into debt instead. Try preparing for the worst while expecting the best. Amazing results.

Something is wrong with this report. Do they think we are stupid. FOOD PRICES ARE GOING UP NOT DOWN.

I think they were comparing everything to milk @ Walmart. Last week I bought milk @ 2.00 a gallon... and that was the ONLY price that went down... for a few days anyways... like when they needed info for this report.

"Anecdote" is not the singular form of "data".
Just because you think prices are up doesn't actually mean they are.
