It's actually Max Biaggi who finished fourth, not Giaggi. He's someone who may not appreciate having his name spelled wrong :-)

Also, interesting tidbit, Haga who placed fifth, was riding with a collarbone broken in two places happened just the day before) and he had crashed earlier that morning as well. Don't know what that kid is made of or what his doctor was giving him, but I want some!

Checa rocked and absolutely deserved his win, though it was sad to see Bayliss go out so early in both races. Not only is he a phenomenal rider (evidenced by his two previous victories in the sport) but a very personable guy, and he rides an awesome Ducati V-Twin!

Hope the stands are a bit more packed next year!

Ducati is L-Twin. I 'd love to see GP comming to SLC. I hope Norick Abe was here with us. He was a WSB rider who passed away in tragic traffic accident.
