Great story. Always inspiring to hear of people who can do the Ironman. What a great role model for our kids who love the Blaze.

Jason, we appreciate what you did with the Utes and now the Blaze. Good luck with your Ironman pursuits.

Jason may be the most mentally tough person I have ever met. Thanks to him and the Garffs for bringing pro football to Utah!!!

We remember the touchdown scored on the fake kick against Oregon! Way to go Jones, keep up the great work with the Blaze!

this guy isnt a role model. doing the ironman is something you train for and do all by yourself. it doesnt take people skills either. the blaze have lost more games every year...maybe the owners should have hired someone with experience running a team or even in sports in general. i hardly even count being a punter as football experience.
Fan? you say? | 10:22 a.m. June 2, 2008
That's not a very good "Fan" Attitude. Have you ever met Jason Jones? Take the time after a game to come meet this guy and talk to him. You will be left very impressed. He is strong morally, mentally, and emotionally. He will make you a better person. He knows what's important, in life and in sports. Be a real "Fan"! Appreciate!

Your comments couldn't be more off base and incorrect. Jones hosted our youth group prior to the Chicago game and gave the a behind the scenes tour for over an hour when he had much more important things to do. Also, you obviously have no idea how much discipline it takes to complete an ironman. My company would die to have people like Jones who is not only an overachiever but has the work ethic and discipline to succeed wherever he goes.

Jason, or Zoolander as we like to call him. Is a great role model. If it wasn't for his "School for kids who can't read good and want to learn other stuff to", I never would be where I am today. Which is Assistant to the Regional Manager of a major paper supply company.
