Lois Stout is a FORCE. My three sons (now adults) were fortunate enough to have her as their orchestra teacher in school, her daughter Lisa started one of my sons with private lessons, and her son Randy was a great friend of my boys as well as a fantastic violinist himself. In Manyland, Lois not only inspired many youngsters in the musical arena, but she also profoundly influenced them because of the person she is. It is wonderful that she continues her magnificent teacher career in Utah, and I am so happy for the lucky children who are fortunate enough to have her be a part of their growth and development. I think of Lois often, and I hope to be in contact with her so I can tell her how well her students have turned out!
