That boy is a very creative, interesting, radical spirit and he incarnated at the right time.

Thanks for a great column. I loved the "high school wasn't exactly a dream come true for you." It wasn't for me, either, but I could tell your son after 61 years of life high school wasn't meant to be the apex of life. He will have lots of great adventures not even possible under the confining, exclusive and many times unfair microscope of high school. He will be amazed at those who never quit living their glory days of high school, while to those who really achieve in life, high school was just part of life. Here's to your son's great future!
