Let's just hope the management emerges out of the stone age and comes to understand how basketball is played today.
I'm going to renew, as usual. I just hope we can advance further next season.

Carolyn - those are perfect sentiments. It was fun watching the Jazz, even from the other side of the country where we have limited access to their games. I think their no-nonsence, blue collar work ethic and their willingness to fight the good fight until the last second is a lesson for everyone in any walk of life. Thanks for a great year. Now let's use this off-season to find how to get back to the finals!

Thanks for a great season, I am so proud of the Jazz team. I was amazed that LeBron and Kobe both identified the Jazz as one team which does not trash talk, that is a great compliment. I wish all the teams would just shut up and play basketball like the Jazz.

I hadn't heard that compliment about not trash talking very much. Nice to hear. I do know the Jazz play hard, but they can take as well as they give, and they tend not to complain about it too much.
Oh how I wish one of those last two 3-pointers had gone down!
Everyone likes to win, but it's just sport and if at the end of the day you weren't just glad to watch or compete, then it's not what you ought to be doing. This is what I tell my kids when they lose in a video game: it's great to win, but if you're only happy if you win, then you better find something else to do with your time.
Great year, looking forward to next.

Thanks, Jazz for losing to the Lakers. It warmed my heart.

Hey JAZZ, are you ready for a THROWDOWN? That is more of those awesome DUNKS and getting points in the paint.
Thanks for an exciting season and those beautiful shots that come from out there but still go in for the count. It is truly great to hear about the no trash-talk from our Jazz. We love your high fired spirit and your never want to give up attitude.
So great, so special. Our family got to see several games at ESA including the hot play off game on Mother's Day. See ya next season.

It was a great season. Had lots of fun. Hope next year is even better. Thanks for all your effort. I wish my employees worked as hard as the Jazz players.

Thank you Jazz for another wonderful season that brought such good times for so many. Your hard work and effort are truly apparent and are an example to us all.

Maybe if you paid your employees as much as the Jazz players they would work as hard.
Great but | 12:22 p.m. May 20, 2008
Yeah, it's fun, but after 20+ years of almost, coulda-woulda-shoulda seasons, it's hard to get too excited anymore. Maybe next year... yeah right!

I enjoy the jazz as much as the next person, but I too am getting sick of the almost-missed years that we have had too, although it is better than being in the lottery.

long-suffering Jazz fans will have their day in the sun, someday, I'm hoping someday soon.
I'm thinking if the Jazz keep the core together this year and then Boozer opts out and flies to Miami the Jazz will be prime Bill Simmons "Ewing Theory" canidates.
If Millsap continues to improve like he has been, and Boozer plays next year like he played in the playoffs this year, I'd say let him go or trade him before the deadline. However, if he improves like he promised this offseason and continues to be a 20/10 guy, I think the Jazz should see if max money and a championship calliber team could convince him to stay. Jimmy is right though, even that might not be enough.

If they have to win it all to make you happy... You are probably never going to be happy. The Jazz will probably NEVER win the championship (It will always be LA, Boston, NY, etc). Small town teams are just there to give them someone to play in the regular season.
But that shouldn't prevent you from enjoying the competition.

I remember watching the early games when the Salt Palace was empty...I bought courtside seats at game time for $5. I was a fan then when they rarely won and I will be a fan as long as they do not become like some of the arrogant teams with a sense of entitlement. Would I like a championship? Of course. If my appreciation of the team hinged on it that would make me superficial and shallow. So sorry that some of you can't get enjoyment out of a team doing pretty well (better than anyone outside Utah and not named Barkley expected) and must instantly start griping and moaning. I thank all the Jazz players from this year (even Gordan who showed class in a difficult situation), the staff, and you fans who were there for me since I can no longer be there, for a stupendous year.

Thank you Jazz team for a great run in this year's playoffs. I watched from far away in L.A. I was so proud of the comebacks in both L.A. in game 5 and Salt Lake in game 6.
I really hope this group's core stays together and matures to a championship team. I think it will happen.
I'll be there to support; mostly from far away; but I've made it up to Salt Lake a couple of times. I'd love to see you guys again next season.
Love and Peace
Go Jazz

keep the Jazz together | 2:47 p.m. May 22, 2008
I hope they keep the Jazz together for along time, because the Lakers need an easy rode before they meet the real NBA teams. Lakersssssssss......Who loves Kobe? Did you see what he did last night in the second half against the Spurs? Kooooobeeeee!
Ing | 10:53 p.m. May 22, 2008
Didn't see, don't care -- I'm a Jazz fan. I do hope you get your wish and this Jazz team stays together for a while, though. Somebody has to beat the Lakers. The Spurs will do it this year, and the Jazz will take care of it in the future.
