He should step down. If he did, or became in incapacitated, Mitt should run for the job.

I agree with wrz. Mitt Romney is the perfect substitute for an old man with brain damage.

This was pretty sad when I saw this. When he is gone I have often thought it would be strange not having a Kennedy anymore; at least one of the brothers.
Ted Kennedy has done a lot for America. I may disagree with a lot of his choices but he genuinely cares about America. It will be sad when he is lost.
Hopefully he will recover fully and have strength to continue in the senate or at least in his involvement with the country.
