Was this the same person Williams was talking about at last years playoffs?

Once again, Kirilenko dissappoints the fans..Come
on, just think if we had Sean Marion, instead of this
Me First, and my summer vacation plans...Miller
should be firing this guy...get rid of him.

Do AK & Tony Romo have the same agent? Skip practice before an elimination game? Take Jessica to Cabo before the next playoff game? C'mon guys- you get paid mega bucks to be there when the team needs you.

Who CARES!!

Is he supposed to wait until the playoffs are completely over to schedule a vacation to Europe with his family. How many of you have been to Europe. You don't "whip up" a vacation to Europe in a month or 2. You make travel arrangements well in advance. If there was a visa problem, let him take care of his personal business.

I can't believe what becomes newsworthy, and even more I can't believe some of you actually care!!

Maybe I missed it, what happened, did he go check on visas without the permission of his supervisor (coach)?

blown out of proportion the questions being asked to everyone is probably the bigger distraction
Little Jerry | 7:10 p.m. May 16, 2008
Is it possible that he could perhaps take care of it before or after practice. Or maybe his wife could do it like mine does while I am at work. I think it is ridiculous to skip practice the day before such a big game. There is no way I would be able to skip work the day before a big project to plan my family vacation. I wish they had pulled the trigger for Marion. AK's heart is not here any more. He has gone from one of my favorite Jazz players of all time to one of my least favorite. He acts like a spoiled brat most of the time. Too bad the money has gone to his head, he used to be fun to watch.

No it couldn't have been done before or after practice. Obviously you don't do very much traveling but if he would have had to reschedule the visa appointment it would have been at least a month before he could have gotten another appointment and no his wife could not have taken care of it for him. He had to appear in person to apply for the visa.
He asked and obtained his supervisor's approval to do this so who are you or anyone else questioning this.
This is the biggest non-issue around.

Give me a break "biggest non-issue around". Obviously you haven't played many competitive sports and don't realize the importance of preparation and focus. No way D-Will schedules the appointment during the playoffs or misses practice to ensure he can enjoy a vacation. Thanks for the explanation on the difficult process of obtaining a visa, very helpful, you're a real asset to all of us, but the day before game 6? are you kidding me? Little Jerry made a good point. Jazz are down 15 right now and AK is doing his thing. 0-9 on 3's in the series and getting stripped or blocked everytime he tries to go to the hole. Get him out of here.

The highest paid player on the team missing practice before the elimination game for planning a summer vacation.

Nothing but a distraction to the team.
Nothing but a disappointment to the fans.
Nothing but an embarrasment to the franchise.
