Utah A very bad deal from a very questionnable referee

Thanks Wrangler fan. The ref keeps his whistle in his pocket for the ENTIRE 3rd period, then calls a ticky-tack penalty in the high slot? Things don't get any better tonight-Nissen is the ref, which means another badly called game. Let's go Grizzlies!

As good as the game was, it is too bad to see it end the way it did. Utah played well, they just couldn't get the bounces that Vegas got. Oh well, at least if Vegas wins the Cup, it will stay in our Conference for the 3rd straight year.

Hey Linda, Vegas and the Grizz are in the National, not the Northern Conference of the ECHL.

The Grizz played a strong game last night and fought hard, only to be beaten by the referee. A horrible call to give Vegas a power play and then a NO CALL on a goaltender inferference which would have taken away the winning goal. Hard to beat a ref and the team you are playing. Ticky-tack penalties have no place in playoff hockey, missed high stick penalties MUST be called and the ref missed 2 that resulted in injury to Grizz players.
Hope we get a better effort tonight by the official.
Go GRIZZ!

Well its been a good run Grizzlies. I dont think many people thought you'd make it out of the first round when the playoffs started.. including me!

It's easy to miss the fact that the Grizzlies have done progressively better in each game of this series. But for the final two inexplicable penalties, Utah might have actually won game three. They matched Vegas in skating (no small feat as Vegas is FAST) and beat them in shots on goal. And Johnson was amazing once again, with two assists. Great hustle and great instincts, Keith!
Instead of wallowing in last night's raw deal, let's treat tonight's game like a big party. Either cheer our boys on to deny Vegas their sweep or at least give them a good send-off for the summer. Thanks for a great season, Grizzlies, no matter how long it lasts!

The grizzlies played well and it's tough for them to lose on such a questionable call by the ref. It's great that the grizzlies have done as well as they have in the playoffs and exceeded expectations.

One note to the fans here in Utah...T-Shirts are great, but when the building is at its very loudest because T-Shirts are being tossed into the crowd there's something wrong with that. Also don't be afraid to stop cheering during the T-Shirt toss when Las Vegas scores a goal. Its a little embarrassing. Support the hard work of the grizzlies the with the same energy as the free T-shirt toss.

Honestly, No ref in the ECHL is very good at all, we can all agree. You can't really blame the ref because throughout the series, the calls have gone both ways. The teams need to build a big enough lead so these lousy calls won't matter. The grizzles need to play harder, plain and simple.

You must not have been at the game as the Grizzlies played about as hard as they could. I agree that their lead should have been larger, but in OT, that penalty should not have been called. The way you phrase it makes you seem like a Wrangler fan, and not the respectful ones at last nights game, the ones who yell foul language while sitting amongst a see of families, and the ones who run down to the glass and stand right in front of someone, despite that person's protests.

ECHL Fan, I respectivley disagree. I have attended all the playoff games, including all three in this round so far, and the Grizz are playing as well or better than they have the first two rounds. The difference is that the puck is bouncing out instead of in as it did the first two rounds. I do agree with you that the calls have gone both ways. The tying goal in game two could have been disallowed for interference as easily as the game winner last night. All water under the bridge of course, it is what it is, and you have to give credit to the Wranglers for their play as well.

Win or lose, THANK YOU!!!! To the Grizzlies. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch and root for you this year! Can't wait for October to come.
