I have to say THANK YOU to Deseret News for your coverage of these players of EVERY TEAM who play their hearts out and get little or no coverage from the other news paper even the local TV stations won't cover these stories. It's sad because all you hear about is the Jazz and MLB, when these kids are young, in your back yard and free to watch. As a parent I say Thank You for coming to the games and supporting any team!

If Taylor Jones had been pitching Box Elder would not have kept it close. With Tay Jones pitching against Dixie, it's going to be C-Wood and Cyprus for the championship.

No, fans do not have the rights you are speaking of. All an umpire has to do is warn the fans once if to no avail the behavior continues the game can be forfited. You might want to share this information with your fans for future reference.

It was a good game and both teams made there fair share of "mistakes" in the game..."CYPRUS FANS" dont get to excited i was at the game. and i have also seen the jones kid pitch...sure he could beat a cottonwood..(he already has) but from the looks of your Wanna be state championship team...what if jones Does pitch against cottonwood? and wins?? you have to beat the likes of pine view or dixie...with out him...Box Elders pitching is no good and set aside from jones's homeruns your guys at the plate....They can't keep up with a team that has a "Decent" pitcher and can hit the ball like the likes of Cottonwood, Dixie, or a Pineview..sorry save the state championship banner for another year...Thank you

It is not over till the proverbial lady sings. Cyrpus has just as much opportunity as any other finals team. Remember in any sport you can not eliminate LUCK and CHANCE. Talent is all that BUT there are other elements to the game!!!

where are you from then ,if you were at the game and have seen the jones kid pitch before and you know everything there is to know about high school baseball
