Half of your runs were unearned PV. Nice Win?? But it doesn't really matter you can't beat us. See around this summer.

Hey Flyer,
You might want to keep your mouth closed. If you meet Pine View, it isn't going to be pretty. It seems like the team that wins in the regular season usually loses to the other team in the playoffs. Just like last year against SC.

You better hold off on talking about facing each other or you will be doing it in the losers bracket.
Both of you have to face pretty good teams that could beat you. Both of you have not played good teams other than each other and that could be misleading because you are flat out unproven (no offense, just look at your schedule). Good luck to both SoUtah teams.

Flyer BE carefull about spouting off allready, Pv and Dixie players have great respect for each other So lets leave it the way and let the chips fall were the might Wouldn't it be great to have a Southern utah Final, Either Way When it is over the players will be hugging each other And Fan's like you can either go home strutting your stuff or with your tail between your legs.

I think it's a shame that our teams and families and coaches have to choose between graduation and baseball playoff games. Who looked ahead when we were forced to go 4A?
True Competitors Show Respect | 3:55 p.m. May 15, 2008
Post just above me... I like what you wrote because Dixie & Pineview do have a great deal of respect for one another and I hope to see it remain that way. If we meet again, it will be another tough game - every game we played was hard fought to the bitter end. True competitors do not trash talk in my opinion - they just get the job done on the field. I shake my head at some of the trash talk on these boards because it overshadows the beauty in this great american sport. Regardless of what the outcome is next week - I think every team that has advanced needs to get the credit and respect they deserve... It's is a gift to be able to play at this level for any young man. North or South, we have some amazing talent in our state. Good luck Cyprus and Cottonwood, we'll see you at Gates Field! You gotta love this game...

I agree with flyer on the aspect of unearned runs; That game was full of errors; and that is why you won. If Cameron was kept in the game it wouldn't have ended the way it did; granted you still may have won. But the turn out would have been alot different; Don't get your head so full. Chances are you won't make it passed Cottonwood or Dixie. Good luck; Great win. I just hope you realize it was due to errors and HORRIBLE hitting on Mountain View's side of the field. Maybe we will play against each other later on in the bracket again; MV and PV are close in talent and it shows by earlier in the season and later in the season. One win, one less. We will see. Good luck in the winners bracket.

To anonymous and Flyer,
Last time I checked errors and unearned runs are part of the game and is what determines who wins and who loses. Teams who win don't commit errors and give up unearned runs. Talking about how Mountain View would have won had they not made them just comes off as whining. Quit whining.

it is going to be a battle from the gates. cottonwood and pine view should be a great game.if pine view can swing there bats it could go eaither way. dixie and cyprus on the other hand should end with cyprus on top. dixie wont be able to comepete with jones. he is to tough and they havent seen anyone like him all year.

It will be a tough match up for both games. If Pineview's bats are hot watch out - their are hard to stop once they start to hit. Dixie has successfully faced LP Prestwitch, LP Jarvis (signed with DSC) and Diedrich; all three pitchers are as solid as they come. Cyprus has their hands full with Chunner. It's going to be fun to watch.
