I am unsure of how Hubie Brown can be called a "friend." I have watched the Jazz through-out the season and play-offs and the only friendly statement made by a national television personality is from Charles Barkley. The press, NBA, and television broadcasting are not friends of the Jazz, Salt Lake City, or Utah.

Hubie Brown and the entire rest of the media (Charles Barkley excepted) is so pro-Lakers that it's pathetic. "Go out and have fun and enjoy yourself". That's good advice how? Heck, I could have told Booze that and I've never coached a day of BB in my life!
How about lets have a little more fair coverage from the media for a change. I was depressed when I read that Hubie Brown will be doing today's game again. Friday night I finally shut the volume off and just watched the game in silence. He's MISERABLE to listen to!

I feel Hubie has always been pro Jazz. He is always talking up Utah's system, Derron, and Jerry Sloan.

If Hubie were a “friend” of the Jazz then he would mention the discrepancy in FTs during this series. It’s clear we have outplayed the Lakers in this series, our TO’s during the regular season was the achilles heal which lead to a disastrous December and cost us the #1 seed, but now TO’s are down. We’ve actually made 120 FG to the Lakers 104 and both teams have 17 made 3-Pt FG coincidently our FTA are down from 30 per game during the regular season to 24 in this series…..VERY INTERESTING!!!

Hubie Brown is my favorite in-game analysts. I enjoy his thoughtful insight and knowledge of the game. You shouldn't base your opinion on whether he said something 'bad' about your team; it might be true.

"It is clear the Jazz have outplayed the Lakers in this series". Are you kidding they have outplayed them one game in this series. Take your stats and go sit in the shade. There is only one stat that counts at this point that's wins and losses. According to your logic the Jazz can lose the series and have still outplayed the Lakers. That's cool I'll take it.

Gives Boozer some advice which Boozer apparently felt helped him and you Idiot Jazz fans still complain. There must be something in the water.

Please see "Signs of the times? Civility may be at all-time low" in today's issue. It seems on point.

Isn't "Having Fun" why we play sports? Just that some guys with a lot of talent GET PAID TO "HAVE FUN"! Get a life Boozer!!!
I guess sometimes with the millions of dollars they get paid and the POSH FLEET OF LUXURY CARS, they tend to forget that it's all about "FUN"! Quit trying to KEEP UP WITH THE JONES, and HAVE FUN PLAYING BALL!
I wish I could have his job, and his money, I would live in a 4500 sq. ft house, and maybe drive 1 really nice car like an Escalade or a Hummer or something. I would also fund an intercity thing for kids to get them off the street, or give them the opportunity, that would BE FUN!

when you play and have fun doing it,you are relaxed and carefree so you are bound to do a better job. most all the players interviewed after the game, all say they just went out there played hard and had fun. what more is there to say.

Hey, if Boozer plays to have fun, and the Jazz win, who cares? It's not all about giving yourself a heart attack chasing numbers on a scoreboard. Oregon fan, spot on. Go Jazz!

Hubie brown and Frank Layden were roomates in college. And they have remained close friends. Hubie Brown was the last Knick coach to leave NY with respect. Hubie Brown knows more about basketbal than any NBA announcer on any channel. (just because someone was a good player, doesn't mean they will be a good announcer...part of that is putting the game at hand in the forefront and egos and previous accomplishments aside.) Hubie Brown is a coaching and basketball legend. He has forgotten more about basketball than many of these young fellas will ever know.
