Romney is one of the few (if not the only one) left that actually have true decency. I'm glad he was honored with this award.

Romney is little more than a rich opportunist and his true religion is the all mighty dollar.

The almighty dollar? Romney has already enough of it. He served as governor of Massachusetts with zero dollar salary. He fixed the bancrupt and scandal-laden Utah Olympics in 2000 for a token one dollar. Did you know that?. What politician will give up a governor's salary because he has enough of it. He fixed the Utah Olympics for $1.00, that is almost for free. When asked why he did not take any salary. He said he has enough. Do not accuse him of serving the Almighty dollar. Only Mitt Romney is decent, with good moral character and integrity. And that is important. I will vote for Romney anyday. I am glad he and his family were honored with this award. The country is lucky to have him. Thank the Lord.

I'm glad he addressed the concern about those Americans who do not profess a faith. I think we all need to be recognized as worthy contributors to American society. Atheists are Americans too.

The more I learn about Mitt Romney, the more impressed I am. He seems to be a man of integrity. I watched every time he was on the news or a talk show (Larry King, etc.) and was always impressed by how nuanced his answers were. Some people accuse him of being a "flip-flopper," but I have always reasoned that what they are calling flip-flopping is really just THEIR misunderstanding of a very nuanced and sophisticated understanding and position on the issues. I can't help but think that such an intelligent-yet-principled, nuanced-and-subtle-yet-committed-to-integrity man is exactly what we need to lead this country during these internationally-complex times. His endorsement of McCain is sufficient reason for me to vote for McCain. Even if Mitt Romney is not selected as VP running mate with McCain (which I think would be ideal), Romney's involvement in the Republican Party cannot help but have a positive impact.

If McCain selects him for VP, they will have my vote and many others.
