I'm not exactly sure what this letter is trying to say, but for anyone who thinks Kobe Bryant is just going to sit back and let the L.A. Lakers wither away in the playoffs, you better think again.

I'm a die hard Utah Jazz fan and I think this year's Jazz team is incredible. However, just because the Jazz beat the Lakers in game three of their playoff series, doesn't mean the Lakers are finished. Game Four is still a must-win for the Jazz, and the Lakers are going to do all they can to keep from having to play a game six or seven.

Kobe is an amazing player and this year, has become much more of a team player.

Kobe is a product of the NBA media machine.

He is very good, but when you jack up forty and fifty shots, and score thirty five, that is not an indicator of a great scorer, it only shows that he takes more shots.

Baseball hitters are judged by their BA, among other things. When Kobe ends up with the best field goal percentage because he is more accurate than anyone else, then there is a case, but until then, he is what we used to call a ball hog.

Plus, NBA has suspended the rules on ball handling and dribbling. Three steps and up is the standard anymore, and it has become allowed to dribble the ball by pushing it in any direction, as opposed to the rule that says you can only push the ball, down.

Those two changes ruined the game of basketball, and made it into the Harlem Globe Trotters. There is no defense against a player who can travel, take three steps and a bunny hop without dribbling, and can push the ball sideways to make a move.

NBA is a joke.
