Heck, I cheer Fisher, because he's the only person I know who can snooker a used car salesman.

John and Pat - Please ignore the childish rantings of liberal larry. It's too bad he doesn't have a clue what a true liberal is. But, also, please excuse true Jazz fans if they decide to boo anybody wearing a Lakers uniform. It's tradition!

Puleaseee...Do you not remember that Fisher was very reluctance to come to Utah...it was apparently was beneath him and there were rumors that he would retire, rather than come. He was great once he got on the floor, but the plane ride to LA is very short and very easy, I made it many times when my mother was ill and dying. He could have had the best health care for his child in the amount of time it takes to drive from one end of LA to the other, and remained with the Jazz. I lost all respect for him when he signed up the week after he begged out of his contract here. Bring him on, and boo him off the floor, he's earned it.

What's good for the goose ... | 10:10 a.m. May 9, 2008
If you critizise any jazz player for going to a different city, then you should live by your own standard, and don't ever change jobs. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

I will boo him, he is still traveling to New York for his daughters care. Carlos Booser's son was also going through some hurendos cancer treatments and he stayed with the Jazz and prayed for them to be well enough to join him here in Salt Lake. Besides, he is giving his team all the calls Jerry Sloan is calling being a turn coat is not fair to anyone. GO JAZZ and I hope Fisher is booed out of the building!!!
I would not boo if... | 11:32 a.m. May 9, 2008
Fish actually said what he was going to do; play for a team that is closer to New York so his daughter can get treatment.
You people who are on your high horse about not booing get off it. This is the NBA its entertainment; there are heroes and villians, loyalists and turn coats, its all part of the game. These players are there and make the big bucks because we watch.

Of course there will be boos. Whether you'll admit it or not, he used his daughter's illness to get himself out of his contract with the Jazz. That's pretty low. Then, with all of the sympathy and good wishes of the Jazz team, and the state of Utah, he runs right back to L.A. and signs with the Lakers. His daughter travels to NEW YORK for her treatments every week. Last time I checked, there are flights to New York right here from little old Salt Lake City. Kind of a low-class move, worthy of a few boos from loyal fans. Get used to it.
