I rode the UTA train the last free day, for quite some time, there was inadequate ventilation, someone forgot to turn on the fresh air. Also the train stopped 3 times from Salt lake to Ogden so a train coming from the other side could pass.

When I look at the tracks I notice the Union Pacific tracks are very close to each other, while the UTA track is far from the other two. This is wasted space. If no space was wasted, then in the future there would have been room to lay another track so trains wouldn't have to wait.

Are there ever plans in the future to lay two tracks along the whole distance? if not this is very unfortunate.

In the 1980's I used to ride the bus from Bountiful to Weber College, and later from Bountiful to the University of Utah. Back then the bus was a fairly quick way to get to either school. Now on the way to Weber, I am told the bus spends time waiting at a parking lot, and on the way to the U, the bus takes a detour to Lake View Hospital. I wish neither of these were true. People don't want to ride slow busses. Busses should be as fast as possible to entice people to ride.

I am so tired of seeing empty buses driving around town and clogging up traffic and polluting like crazy. Wouldn't it be cheaper just to buy Honda Civics for the few people who use the bus system?

The director get a nice, plush car allowances. Fat chance getting him to ride the bus.

UP will not allow UTA to get their tracks any closer than they were built. There is no wasted space when it comes to the spacing between UTA and UP. Also, the will be even farther set back on the alignment going south because UP doesn't like how close they got up north.

There are plans for two sets of track in key areas of the future.

Trustees and UTA High Paid Executives Accountable.
UTA needs to get Accessible Vans and Small Buses to go into neighborhoods to help Encourage People to take the Bus, to take Individuals to the Main Bus Route or Trax. Gas Prices have Sky Rocketed. UTA needs to work on Barrier Free, Benches and Shelters and also Increase Frequency of Buses. For the Last 10 Years UTA has Destroy the Bus System, by Raising
Fares 75% and Cutting Service. In order to help get Motorist out of there cars UTA need to Lower Fares and Increase Frequency of all Bus Routes and Increase the Bus System in order to Increase Ridership. Then the UTA Executivies will have Earn
their Salaries and Huge Bonuses.
