I remember all those cougar fans gloating when UVSC beat the Utes earlier last month.

Recruits | 7:37 a.m. May 6, 2008
Anyone who follows prep baseball in Utah County knows that Utah Valley is getting the best recruits every year over BYU, that's why this is no surprise.

They get the better recruits because BYU refuses to recruit inside their own state!!!!

time for a change in cougar town!!! The best junior pitchers in the state are looking to go elsewhere. better get on the stick cougars. Huber (west Jordan) Carter {Bingham} Cottonwoods #1 guy all would love to go to BYU But aren't even getting a sniff. If you want to keep losing to UVSC Just let these kids get away. Wake up BYU. Go get these kids

Remember the article Dick Harmon wrote earlier this spring about BYU needing to play better competition than Utah Valley and SUU? Try beating them first.

Nice article. Well written. BYU baseball team is having a tough year, but they still underestimated the wolverines. Hopefully the light will click sometime. Again, thanks for a good article
BYU ...needs... | 2:53 p.m. May 6, 2008
BYU needs a new coach. This is what you get when you go for the "BIG NAME" instead of a proven coach!
BYU should dominate. Instead they disintegrate.
It's all about coaching and recruiting. Neither of which they are getting.
This is also why we do not want Danny Ainge to come in and coach BYU Basketball ever. Nor any other former player coaching any major sport, unless they've proven themselves as a coach first. PLAYER does not equal coach.

BYU should play to win and forget about the nepotism. You would think that would end in little league.

what's wrong with a down year? it seems to happen to every team every once in awhile. byu baseball has been right there in the past. plus, they lost most of their pitching to the draft and jc's last year. relax.

BYU is having a down year. it seems like as soon as a bad year comes along, only heads turn to the bad record, instead of the wonderful seasons in the past. this is the first bad season in Coach Law's BYU coaching career, but what team doesn't have its ups and downs?

Don't be surprised when UVU is the best team in the state every year. Coach Gardner had a great run and now Coach Madsen is going to get his chance to move forward, and I know he will. GO GREEN!
