The jazzare not getting points in the paint for one very good reason.
The jazz don't have real bigmen. Memo would rather shoot three's and boozer is content to shoot jumpshots.
And while they can be very good rebounders.
They don't provide any real interior defense.
TRADE BOOZER NOW AND GET A REAL BIGMAN. AND A CHAMPIONSHIP.

"Any team that gets layups, Sloan continued, is tough to defend. Players are either not doing their jobs or backing off of their responsibilities."
Example: at one point I saw McGrady drive to the hoop from the left, with Boozer in his path. The Booze jumped out of the way faster than a pedestrian on the freeway. Has Carlos ever taken a charge in his life??

You're crazy dude! Boozer and Memo need to watch how many fouls they take while playing defense. They want to play smart defense, not reckless, rip your head off if you come near the paint defense. Unless you guy like playing Jaron Collins, your guys' favorite player!
And by "real" bigman, who do you suggest would fit the bill? Shaq? Come on! There's no one available that plays lockdown defense to make it worth replacing the scoring ability that Boozer has. Same story with Memo. It's a little tough finding a guy almost 7 feet tall who shoots 3's.

Even if Boozer made the effort of getting in front of T-Mac, Boozer would never draw a charge because T-Mac is a superstar. Superstars always get the calls to go their way. It's just the way it is.
