I agree Carlos, we lost the game in the paint and on foul shooting. The team looked bored or tired, not in payoff mode until the last few seconds, then it was too late to recover. D Will always seems to be up for the play. Hope everyone is hungry for a win tonight. GO JAZZ>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

This game isn't rocket science, just spread the court and move the ball, take shots when you have rebounders underneath and give some effort will help. How many Jazz fans still wish we would have beat the Spurs in the last regular season game , so that you could be playing them now? I bet Phoenix would trade places gladly in a heartbeat. Sometimes it isn't always good to get what you dream about. I have tasted humble pie a few times---you know what--it doesn't taste all that bad.

The entire Jazz team need to practice free throws--they lost game three with Houston because they shot so lousy from the charity stripe. Practice makes perfect. Glad to hear Boozer is going in early to practice shooting the three shows. Let's hope the rest of the team does the same.

Ver disappointing game. Foul Shots are a must in any game; and the Jazz just couldn't getit together. Hope that we can get this one tonight. Everyone will be watching and hoping. Lots of people are for the Jazz and we love you. Make us proud. DR

It goes without saying that this game today is a critical must win for the Jazz. The Jazz must dictate the pace of the game at the outset, and put the hammer on Alston, T-Mac, et al. The must go inside first, regardless of Mutombo's presence; and when he is out of the game, that is the first option. As the article says, get the ball to Boozer early. There was too much dribbling outside; pass the ball quickly and crisply. These tentative passes are killing us, and leading to turnovers.
Go Jazz!!
Go Jazz!!
Boozer Wants the Ball More????? | 8:24 a.m. April 26, 2008
Did you hear that D-Will? Boozer wants the ball. I don't think you should give it to him though. Afterall, he may break a nail, he just painted his nails, he is scared of the Jazz Dancer's defense, he may have to pretend to play defense when he turns over/bricks the ball, he may get fouled, he may have to man up, he may get touched in the paint, he is a sissy, he may have to give SOME effort, he may strain himself, he may cry, Mutombo's shadow is scaring him. Don't give him the ball, he should warm the pine. Give the rock to Collins. At least he gives effort enough to be the king of flop. BENCH BOOZER THE LOOZER!!!
Boozer wants what? | 8:26 a.m. April 26, 2008
Boozer should want to play defense more! Boozer should want to hussle more!
Bomar | 8:36 a.m. April 26, 2008
Boozer needs more touches if takes advantage of his strong suit and that is driving to the basket. He is one of the best when he does that. That said, he needs to abandon the 15-18 foot jumpshot for the most part. If the Jazz need a jumpshooter play Korver.

Did any one else see T-Mac calling Sloan out.... saying he was just coaching thru the media????
This series is over it is just a matter of two or three games.
When the Jazz get back to rebounding and boxing out and running the floor its over,
Come on Korver hit some shots like we know you can
GO JAZZ COME ON LAKERS

Other than missed free throws, that seems to be another missing ingredient from last years playoffs.
And, I believe there was too much talk of a sweep,
from a team that had won more games than the Jazz.
Putting Price on Alston, and letting Williams free
seems to be a good idea. Maybe I am wrong, but I
think Price is a better defender. Do not forget Brewer, Brewer is better than Fisher...and he is
the energy man the Jazz need.

Hey Carlos, take the ball to the rim in lieu of the semi-fade-away-jump-shot bologna!

I will be at the game tonight and I'm hoping to see defense and more defense.Win just win.Hustle and effort above all else.Above stats. Above ego.Let's just hope last game was an aberration. Go Jazz...I mean run Jazz.Get some easy ones and get those hands active I want to see some steals and fast breaks today.

Carlos - free throws are part of part of the 'fixable' things-glad to hear you came in early to work on it. Some advice from an 'ancient' that went to the same high school as you....'don't be so kool'. You know about 'intensity' - turn yours up! A word of caution--channel it! Do not think that intensity has to come out of your mouth...("we're not coming back to Houston!") Manifest that intensity in being "quicker" which is not the same thing as being fast. If I may be so bold - I have some exercises that you can do (just before game time). I love you big guy-I thought you would be a perfect student/replacement for Karl when you first tried out (and I told that to friends in Juneau).

boozer can practice all he wants, but with that stroke and arch he will never be a clutch foul shooter. must drive the jazz coaches up the wall. acctually more effective with milsap at crunch time
NOT WANTING ALL! | 10:39 a.m. April 26, 2008
THEY PLAYED LIKE IT WAS A PRE SEASON GAME THAT DID NOT MATTER(EXCEPT FOR D WILL) WE MIGHT GET SWEPT BY THE LAKERS WITH THIS KIND LACK OF DETERMINATION...........SOMETHING DRASTIC BETTER CHANGE TONIGHT ( LIKE A BLOWOUT) TO OFFSET THE MOMENTUM THAT HOUSTON GOT. I ALSO KNOW THE LAKERS WERE WATCHING AND LIKED WHAT THEY SAW.

I love Booze, but the jazz should not be "forcing" anything. Forcing the ball inside will just cause turnovers.
when on offense, relax. be patient.
Share the ball.
penetrate and kick.
When you have an open shot, take it.
If the jazz want an inside game against houston they will have to do it backwards,outside-in. Spread the floor with some 3's and then go to work. Keep the defense guessing. Jazz have had the hot hand at home utilize it.
This one will be a blow out.

What we have to do | 10:57 a.m. April 26, 2008
Everyone on the floor for the Jazz needs to post up their man. That will get us to the line(make 80%)
Will also open up the 3 point shots later.
Will also open up the 3 point shots later.

its very important to win on home floor for the Jazz, they need it, it will be..... THE JAZZ AND THE LAKERS!!! GO JAZZ!!!!!!!

I would still like to see Korver get the Ball he is open so many times and they never give him the ball or they play him such a short time he never gets in the rhythm of the game. If he hit some 3's they would start double teaming him and open up someone else.

You Carlos Boozer naysayers are just wrong. What has happened is we are in the playoffs people. The opposition have time to look at the video and strategize ways of stopping the Jazz pick and roll. The are jamming up the middle....packing it in and trying to frustrate D-Will by banging him around. There is more and more physicality....and NO CALLS....this is atrocious officiating....they are allowing more and more thuggery....someone is going to get seriously hurt, if they don't stop this nonsense. If they continue to allow this baloney, they will have to modify the rules to allow fist fighting and body armor as in the NHL. Come on Commissioner Stern....clean up this crap.
Jazz in six now. I see them handling the Rocketts handily tonight. In addition, I would like them to shutup T-Mac again, and go down to Texas and shut up those fans/players and not even have to return to Utah for a game six. GO GET 'EM JAZZ!!!!!!!!

that is all the Jazz need. Another I am not happy so listen to me. Last I heard, this is a team game. If things are not going your way, maybe you should work a little bit harder. Don't play the game in the media, that is #1's forte. Don't demean yourself to his level. Quit crying and come to work!
re: ron | 1:20 p.m. April 26, 2008
SO VERY TRUE
ZEKE | 4:16 p.m. April 26, 2008
I wonder how many more free throws Boozer would have missed had he gotten the ball more? He only made 3 out of 8 free throws. Maybe some else should have gotten the ball more. Paul Milsap was in the game at the end of the third quarter when the Jazz were ahead by six Boozer was on the bench.Boozer started the fourth qaurter didn`t seem to be that much into the game.Sloan needs to be not so predictable on his substitution paterns and leave players in the game that are playing well. Hopefully the Jazz are going to play tough tonite because Houston isn`t going to give up they want to win just as bad as the Jazz do.
Anoymous | 5:08 p.m. April 26, 2008
Whenever Boozer gets the ball in paint, he gets it stolen, or they block his shots or they knock the ball down to the floor where it's hard for a big man to get down to. Maybe his numbers are down from awhile ago but the rest of the team are doing good.
Boozer seems to find excuses for EVERYTHING. Everything is his idea, his decision even if someone else makes suggestions. He just wants to control the inside like he tries to control the rest of the team. I don't like that unless there is a good enough reason this person should be a leader. I always thought Matt Harpring was a good Captain. Just my opinion.

Booze, you can get the ball when you start playing well and make your freethrows.
Reality | 11:42 p.m. April 26, 2008
Boozers not getting any calls. The NBA wants to make this a 7 game series. and Boozer is taking the brunt of the no calls.
Rich | 11:52 p.m. April 26, 2008
The Jazz don't need to make three-pointers, but they need to take them when Houston gives them open looks. This spreads the floor out and lets Boozer and others get open looks from 15 to 17 feet and chances for layups. You don't see many teams win consistently without making plenty of easy baskets. I don't think Boozer was being selfish when he called for more inside play and fewer jump shots. Whether he gets the ball inside or somebody else, the Jazz are in a better position to win when they get opponents in foul trouble, and you can't do that by shooting jumpers.
LOL | 2:22 p.m. April 27, 2008
REALITY, you dont get calls if your just shooting contested jumpers.
JUST WONDERING | 2:24 p.m. April 27, 2008
do utah jazz fans know how to play basketball or any other sports? or just talk basketball. playing is a lot different from just watching
