RSL ATTACK!! | 7:31 a.m. April 25, 2008
I think that they should come out and attack DC United. They seemed to be able to control the game more in the second half of the Toronto game when they started to play attacking football. That 45 minutes was the hardest to watch in a long time. I hope that they come out and attack DC, I can't watch another game where they play conservative.

RSL never has good results with bunkering. I also will not keep watching if they play that style of soccer. Other teams can tie and even win with that style, but Real will always lose. Look at the past

There's a difference between high pressing them and sitting back and allowing them to attack us relentlessly. It is much more tiring to play defense than to attack, so I don't understand this tactic.

Can there be no middle ground? Kreis makes it sound like he has two options, all out attack or completely defensive soccer. I absolutely believe that it is possible to play possession and offensive soccer without throwing everyone forward and exposing yourself. It may require more discipline from the outside backs and probably a lineup change in the middle of the pitch. With 3 defensive mids on the pitch at the same time, maybe the only option to create offense is to press high. Get more creative players on the pitch from the start, Williams and maybe Cordoba, and see what might happen.

My prediction;

RSL is once again one of the worst teams in the league.

Real needs to get another stadium to use. Like one all to ourselves instead of using the U of U football field. But other than that go REAL.

Jason Kreis has learnt the art of managing very quickly!
Keep everything in a state of suspended animation to keep everyone on their toes and prepare the fans to unexpect the expected!
He's doing a great job challenging preconceptions and prejudices about set formulas for winning matches and team building - Kreis has to be an early contender for coach of the year, if he can get results on a consistent basis.

Speculating on which pro soccer team is the best is like speculating on which circus is the best. Kids are the only ones that care about them, and they're in and out of cities overnight (i.e. Tampa)!
