Way to turn things around Grizz! the College hockey Frozen Four was outstanding last weekend. Boston College beat Notre Dame 4-1 at the Pepsi Center in Denver in the final after beating North Dakota 6-1 while Notre Dame eliminated favorite and #1 seed Michigan 3-2 in OT (arguably the best game and real championship game of the series).

Who would have thought after the poor performance friday night! I was wondering if this team knew how to play hockey let alone control a pass or have the desire to skate! Oh well, I got a kick out of some the classless Grizzly fans mocking the Fresno goalie and players and then getting lit up 6-1. Classic! I just want them to advance to play Victoria. Then its Salmon Kings all the way!

There seem to be too many "fans" in the E-Center who would rather dump on the opposition than cheer positively for the Grizzlies. Some of them are every-game regulars, too. Amazing how tacky people think they can act because they happened to pay the price of admission.

A certain amount of heckling or trash talk is part of any sport, and I'll admit I've done my share. But there are limits. I reserve my trash talk for the opposing team's designated bad boy or goon, as he probably expects it and even then only when he's done something to deserve it. And I have no patience for people who boo or yell negative comments at their own team. Stick to constructive comments like "You've got him!" or "Hold the line!" Be proactive. Be positive. Go Grizzlies!
