I'm delighted that the station will continue in the form it has been wonderful in pursuing. As we have seen in broadcasting recently, bigger hasn't always meant better. KCPW and some dear friends who have populated it have often felt like the little engine that couldn't, but apparently they can. Sheddng the Park City units and the AM station should help to put them on solid financial footing, with listener's help. I wish the group all the best and we in the commercial end and public broadcasting exist together and share many listeners, and happily so.

I am delighted also. KSL (way to many commercials, KLO (way to many commercials) and 570AM (crackpot radio at its best) are the three main talk-show stations. We have good country music stations like AM1370 and several FM stations. And who can stand listening to the several sports radio stations longer than 5 or 10 minutes. I listen to talk radio mostly in the evening and night and it is hard to beat NPR (and BBC) wherever it is located on the radio dial.
