OF COURSE McCain's alleged support is by default but, both Romney ( who ran to the left of none other than Ted Kennedy for his senate seat ) and McCain are outrageous RINO's.

Had the public actually proved themselves capable of their own governance and bypassed the spin of the MSM to find the records of these clowns along with the real candidates we would have had a conservative for a nominee.

Where their records are still available;

John "Juan" McCain - juanmccain.blogspot

Willard Mitt Romney - willardromney.blogspot

Yarro is still a force in Utah? Even after being booted
out of Canopy?

Seems to me that his only remaining substantial assets are a couple of failed lawsuits. ...

To say that Mitt Romney ran to the left of Ted Kennedy is disingenuous. He was, after all, the Republican in that race. Furthermore, he was running on bona-fide conservative principles such as limited government, personal responsibility, and fiscal restraint. Hardly "leftist" stuff…

Granted, Mitt did say that he would be a more effective advocate for gays than Kennedy. But the reason for that statement was that Kennedy (as most Democrats are) was far too ingrained in the leftist, radical agenda for gays, and less focused on simple equal protection under the law for things like housing, jobs, etc. Furthermore, he timeframe of this race pre-dated the current radical agenda of so called "gay marriage." Romney's stated position back then, and now, is that he opposes gay marriage, but supports basic equal treatment under the law for such things as jobs and housing, for all Americans, even gays.

So, to say he was left of Kennedy is nonsense.
