No loan! What a disappointment! There go my plans to attend Taxidermy school! I was looking forward to graduating and proudly displaying a "Taxidermy School Alumni" license plate frame on my car, just like all the other grads with prestigious degrees. No loan means I'll have to just settle and become a lawyer.

As a law student, I wish that I had the finances to pay for school without loans.

I guess I may just have to settle for Taxidermy school!

Long story short, Zions won't be giving more loans, but other places will. Net loss, not much.

Does anyone actually bank with Zions?? Try being a med student and see what annual 9% tuition increases do to your already astronomical tuition.

Given the option, the Utah legislature would make taxidermy school more affordable. Who needs physicians? Pass me the Xango and Twinkies...

Needs change | 7:32 a.m. March 29, 2008
Our system of student loans needs a complete change. Unfortunately, it seems the govt is focussed on housing this year. I came across a new company last week - Fynanz - a P2P lending marketplace for Stundent loans.

Simple and amazing concept! Though I doubt they will be able to fulfill all volume. The problem is a lot bigger and I hope things settle down before I start grad school in fall.
