Carmen who?... | 8:59 a.m. March 28, 2008
I had no idea who this person was. Was she in the show least year?

I agree, I was in shock when Simon Cowell (Growl) scorched David A. I did not know the song David sang but he sold it in a big way to me and I thought that that was one of the ideas behing AI. And Simon had no business suggesting David did not pick the song himself insinuating that his father Jeff had picked it for him. David set the record straight on that one. He did pick the song. I though David Cook's performance was boring so I don't understand all the positive buzz for him this week.

Listen to David's studio version of "You're the Voice", it's AMAZING! Support David by downloading the song from iTunes. His vocals are fantastic and the lyrics have a hopeful and inspiring message, which is what David is all about!

I found a youtube video of a song he did called, "Angels". It was better than any song he has done on AI and I hope that he does perform it.

I can tell that Carmen is speaking from experience there. I have heard her perform lately and she really is amazing, but back when she was on American Idol, I remember noticing how nervous she was. I bet she wishes she could go back with all the confidence she has now. If you haven't heard her lately, youtube her music video "Nothin like the Summer." It's awesome.

Good insights once again Carmen. I have fun reading your article each week.

Ya, I think that they're (the producers and Simon) just trying to make sure that nobody runs away with the show. In other words, they want to keep the competition close by puting everyone on the same playing field because let's face it, D Arch has it in the bag.
