I was fortunate enough to be in the audience on Wednesday for the preview and this is a very moving film, it's a must see if you have teenagers or anyone that you know who is, or has been an addict. The message of hope and redemption are powerful and something everyone should try to embrace.

We live in a world where drug use is trivialized on the cover of pop culture magazines, and we think "oh poor movie stars, with their mis-managed values." Then a movie like Happy Valley comes along, and moves you in such a way that you are truely changed as a person. I'm a teenager and just had the opportunity to watch this movie. It is a powerful experience and truely a must see for people of all ages. Williams does a remarkable job and truely makes you feel for each of these people. I could not recommend this movie enough.

I lost my 18-year-old son to an accidental heroin overdose in November 2006. This movie is absolutely wonderful, and it's so encouraging that help is out there! You can bet I'm going to get everybody I know to go see this movie. If it saves even one life ...

This Thursday I attended a showing of Happy Valley with Blake (who's addiction was part of the Movie)at the department of youth services. There were about 15 teenagers from 13 to 17 all of which were in state custody. These young people were truly moved by the film. Several were drug addicts other just users. One 14year old girl was the daughter of parents that last custody since they were addicts.
She broke down and really wants help. Another girl said that both her parents were users and she had tried everything. She said the movie opened her eyes.
This movie is a must see for all parents, and children.
