I can see BYU losing this game against TCU. There have been games this year that BYU should have never lost. Especially against BSU. The problem with that loss is if we didn't have enough Aggies fans on BYU's message board now we have to deal wtih Utah State fans talking about this win for the next 5 years. BYU plays down to their competition. BYU also should have never lost to San Diego as well. But you are what you are! BYU is a decent mid-major team. BYU has to win the remainder of their games to include the MWC or else they will have a 8 or 9 seed in the tourney and another loss in the tourney. BYU needs a 6 or a 5 seed so they can win itleast one game in the Tourney. If they have a 7, 8, or 9 seed...then I can see BYU getting beat because they will be playing a good team. anyways...I've seen this too many times over the years with BYU basketball..I'm not getting my hopes up because they lose games every year they should never be losing. This is a trap game against TCU. BE CAREFUL!

Games like this worry me; nothing to play for, Senior night in the opposition's gym, Dave Rose might think about resting some of his starters in preparation for the tournament.

Aggie fans dont dwell on a win against a team that beat BYU, they dwell on the 4 wins out of the last 5 games that they won against your mighty cougars. Should have never lost is such a stupid sentence, yeah they should have never lost, but fact is, they did, so get over it and come up to Logan if you have the guts to do so.

I don't think Dave Rose will rest some of his starters. I know Dave will work in his sleeves to make sure he doesn't let his players do something stupid. He already been their and tired of losing those tourneys and he will get his players attentions! He saw the last game that I was not able to see against wyo - (spurt and sputter at times). He will be focus in those games and he is catching on which I do noticed.

Dave Rose only has 10 non-injured players on the squad, how can he rest his starters? He plays all 10 of those guys on a regular basis anyway, with the exception of Martineau.
As far as the Aggies are concerned, 4 out of the last 5, good job. Are any of those against THIS Dave Rose team? How about next year? Aggies, just like the Utes, love to talk about the past. I guess when that's all you got...

Yeah sure aggie fans we'll show you we (the fans posting comments on this board) have the "guts" to play you in Logan by hijacking the bus and taking Dave Rose and the Cougars up to Logan. Yes, we have so much control over this situation. Or maybe you think Tom Holmoe and Dave Rose read these posts and are now going to "prove" to you they have the guts to play in Logan and will change the venue next year? What, are you still mentally living on a playground in grade school and think the way to act is to dare people to do things and call them chicken if it doesn't happen? I recommend you think before you post so you don't continue to damage the aggie fans' reputation. And if your team is really any good then it shouldn't matter where the games are played. A win away from home is more meaningful so be glad you're going to get that chance. By the way in case it didn't occur to you, BYU will also be playing away from home in our game against USU next season.

I know the reason BYU wants to come up is the possibility of a loss hat would be considered a bad loss come selection sunday time. And I wasnt daring anyone or call them chicken. I just find it funny that the Y is too proud to continue the rivalry between all the teams in Utah.
Also, with the way the teams will look next, should be a great game.

Go Cougars! TCU doesn't stand a chance. Apparently you've all forgotten what happened last year in Texas. It became a BYU pep rally by the end with Dave Rose talking on the PA, thanking all the Cougar fans for coming. It'll be at least a partially pro-BYU crowd and BYU is playing too well right now to drop a game like this.

I'm the one that wrote the very first post of the day entitled: prediction.

I am so tired of Utah State fans reading BYU message boards. All USU fans are so inferior to BYU's sports program, and so envious of BYU's success..it is so obvious! Get a life and read your own message board or the Logan tribune or whatever it your stupid newspaper is. When are Aggie fans going to realize that playing USU in Logan does nothing for BYU's b-ball program or football program. If we win..then nobody cares...if we lose...at the Specturm...(BYU football never loses to the Aggies pathetic football team)then it rips BYU's RPI, and chances for a tournament bid or good seeding.

the reason BYU got out of the contract with the Aggies is because the Aggies had 3 games at the spectrum in Logan and only 2 games in Provo. That is absolutely ludicrous for BYU to follow that contract. So all the Aggie fans that say we are scared or have fear..NO..we have common sense. Remaining in that contract would be like Duke playing the college of Monmouth 3 games at their place while only two at Cameron Indoor. Pathetic!

I'd love to see BYU/TCU game, but it's on the wonderful mtn network, so it won't happen.

TCU has no chance, and Utah State will be lucky to go to the big dance.

The same BYU squad that was willing to travel to Wake Forest would not be afraid of Logan. But what does Cache Valley give the Cougars? No prestige on a national scale and it's not even considered a rival game by BYU fans. After decades of begging, Utah State joined the WAC only because BYU and Utah had left. And don't try to tell me the WAC is a better basketball conference than the MWC. A quick look at conference RPIs and projected teams in the tourney answers that question... the MWC is hands-down better.

Back to relevance, there will be at least a semi-pro BYU crowd at the game tonight and BYU will cruise to victory. There's no quit in this team.

You sound angry. Why? Cant we come on your board and write something? Or is this board only for arrogant Cougar fans. Sadly enough, I dont see very many Cougar fans that are realistic about their team. They dont matter on the national scene either way, if they lose to the Aggies or if they win. Thats just how it is with mid-major teams, and BYU is no exception. When you move to the PAC-10 (if that ever happens), then you can talk about national recognition. Just because you are ranked 26th (AP Poll) doesnt mean, the BCS schools care. Wake up Cougars!!!

If you don't think like a Cougar, you are not allowed on a Deseret News message board. Look at what the average BYU fan comments on a Utah article. It is hilarious to read how shallow minded some fans are. And I think it goes both ways. This talk makes me sick. I know coaches at each schools. I know that they think the fans of this rivalry are crazy. No one outside of the MWC cares about Utah or BYU. Why can't we have a healthy rivalry? Just two sides saying stupid things about each others school.
