I too would like to know how this Bill is going to honor Gordon B. Hinckley?
When will there be a Bill passed to honor Jesus' work here on earth? Jesus' work provided a way out of the death penalty for sin and He doesn't have a Bill that honors Him.

You know I greatly admired and respected Gordon B. Hinckley despite the fact that I am no longer active in the LDS church, but I have to say that I am a bit disappointed in the fact that an elected official actually took the time to draft this bill and even more disappointed that the legislature is still spending time on this when you look at how many things seem to go unaddressed by the close of each annual session.

Some of these comments are pathetic. It is as though they have nothing else to do but tear down and belittle our world. It's a sad commentary when an article and Bill of such goodness is denegrated by certain individuals. I feel sorry for these people that refuse to see the positive in lieu of the negative. There is so much good in the world and hopefully someday your vision will be widened to see it and you will recognize all the blessings that God has brought to your lives.

The bill is simply an acknowledgment of President Hinkley's contribution to Utah. A waste of Time? Sure they could be spending valuable time cruelly destroying hope for kids whose parents are here illegally. Face it, they waste a lot of time on ridiculous things up on the hill. How about a little time spent building rather than destroying?

I too am curious as to what this Bill will be doing to honor the late President Hinkley. Maybe the paper could do a follow to this story and explain more of what it is exactly this Bill will be doing.

Rep. Morley should be congratulated for being the first Representative to sink to the level of pandering for votes and taking advantage of the passing of Gordon B. Hinkley.
Maybe he should run a bill that forbids children in the charter schools that he builds from eating lunch in a tent, in the cold, outside during the winter months.
It could be worse for his Spanish Fork constituants.
At least he isn't Sen. Chris Buttars.
