I HAVE SEEN AND HEARD MITT OVER CNN AND INDEED HE GAVE HIS BEST TO CONVINCE PEOPLE THAT HE CAN TRULY BECOME A GREAT LEADER. HIS HUMBLE BOWING OUT OF THE RACE IS A MARK OF A MAN WHO KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS RESULTS. HE IS BRILLIANT, WISE AND WORTH REMEMBERING IN THE FUTURE. HE KNOWS THERE ARE MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO COME. I HOPE HIM THE BEST AND THANKS FOR HIS GREAT CHARACTER EMULATING THE LESSONS HE LEARNED FROM THE CHURCH. REGINO D. PAMITTAN (MEMBER OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS-PHILIPPINES)

Gomer Huckabee is up in the night! He still thinks this is a two man race for the Republican nomination? Plus, he is asking for Mitt's backers to come to his side after the torpedo job he did on Romney? This guy is an idiot! Let him continue to campaign so all in America can really get to know what kind of flake he really is. If he thinks McCain is going to offer him the V.P. position - he is really dreaming. McCain will use him up and then discard him like last week's trash!

It might be a natural and expected thing for McCain to ask Huckabee to be VP. If the numbers make it impossible for Romney to win, they are even worse for Huckabee. But McCain does not need Huckabee to get a majority of conservative support in the South, since Huckabee only had pluralities and never majorities in any of the primaries. On the other hand, the primary votes in the Western states of Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana were majorities for Romney. McCain cannot get the support of Republicans in those states without Romney in the ticket, and winning marginal Democrats will not make up for losing Republicans. That margin will ensure that a McCain-Huckabee ticket will lose the West and the electoral college. Romney has a lock on the West, and has strong enough support in the South that, combined with McCain, they would start with a majority of all Republicans having supported one of them in the primaries. Romney also has real financial support that Huckabee does not. Huckabee is an economic liberal like McCain, so the ticket would not attract that economic conservatives.

If Huckabee can't add and subtract well enough to know that McCain has already won why would I vote for him? I'm sorry our country doesn't deserve Gov. Romney.

Mitt is one of a kind. I am deeply saddened at his withdrawal from the race. I doubt that Mc Cain would choose him for the V.P. spot but I am quite confident that he will be back. We needed him on our side now! Congratulations to Gov. Romney for proving that he cares more for our country than himself! He & his family deserve our thanks! And shame on Huckabee!!

I am Taiwanese, we are running the presidential election here in Taiwan, too. The economy issue is really working here. The next, new South Korean president is also a businessman, he is a CEO, his business background was very popular with the Korean people. Romney is the only candidate that is strong in the economy area. Romney is also much much better in every way than the other candidates in both parties. I also feel sorry that America doesn't deserve Mitt Romney. I hope Mitt wouldn't give up and he would come back in 2012 to make America a stronger country, the hope of the earth. Mitt Romney and his family are indeed ones of the best people, the best examples of America. Mitt is brilliant, he is a great leader. I hope Americans wake up and open their mind to accept such a great leader in the future. Don't be so stupid, America!

Huckabee's comment just reinforces why I would never, EVER vote for him. He needs to get his head out of the clouds! He must greatly underestimate the intelligence of Romney supporters if he thinks we are going to vote for him.

Mitt Romney has captured the hearts of many across the United States of America and is someone that can be trusted to do what is right for our nation. He will live on to fight another battle as his voice is desperately needed in these uncertain times that we all live in.
