Why do so many brethern constantly make reference to "feeling the
Spirit" when performing priesthood ordinances? I see our duties as
priesthood as "matters of fact." ie. My companion and I recently
performed a healing blessing, and the sister was healed. No more need be said
about it because was it not "a matter of fact?" Is it not a matter of
fact that we will feel the Spirit when we perform our priesthood ordinances,
that is, so long as we are prepared spiritually to perform them? Why make more
of it than that; why raise our arms in adulation about it, so to speak?
Let's just do our job as priesthood, and treat it as "a matter of
fact." That is my feeling as a priesthood holder. Would sure like to hear
General Presidency comments about this subject. Respectfully, bro. Zuercher
