Gotta Go? | 6:54 a.m. Dec. 29, 2007
I wonder how many people "gotta go" to Ogden in the sense they "gotta go" to the bathroom -- only because they have to, no matter how distasteful the task may be. And since when is Sunset magazine an authority about anything?

Its Getting Better... | 3:07 p.m. Dec. 29, 2007
I see things getting much better in the Ogden area. Actually Ogden in the next five years will have the highest per capita increase in new jobsin the state, and not retail, but manufacturing jobs. Where Utah County continues to have layoffs at Novell, SCO, imergent, NuSkin, and others, Ogden will gain nearly 2,300 new high paying manufacturing jobs in the next half decade. The Northern Utah economy is red hot compared to that of Utah County and their continuous rash of pathetic retail and call center jobs.
TX Money to Ogden, UT | 8:14 a.m. Dec. 30, 2007
Because of the new additions/revitalization, we are coming to Ogden during Sundance.

We are going to ski at an Ogden resort, stay in a downtown Ogden hotel, go to the Salomon Center, see Sundance films in Ogden, and attend a Weber State basketball game.

We would have done all of this somewhere else in Utah if I hadn't seen & read about the good things Ogden is doing.

So...that's my out-of-state (TX) money coming to Ogden because of the city's efforts. You all should be a little more positive.

hey bridegroom, which city are you referring to? Ogden or Salt Lake? I've lived in Ogden for 30 years and see none of what you are talking about.

Salt Lake, on the other hand, has organized crack dealers operating phone surveillance networks around Pioneer Park, right next to your glitziest new shopping center. Ogden had 4 murders last year, how many did slc have?

and so on.
