Great man and leader, and very well written article to support him. Thank you

President Faust has been a great example of love and kindness to me. I am a
senior sister missionary in Melbourne West Australia Mission. My heart goes out
to President Faust's family and I pray God's peace be with them.

Every time I listened to President Faust or read something he had written, his
manner exuded patience and kindness. Whatever feelings I may have had at the
time, I always felt peaceful and was lifted up after hearing him. I will miss
his calming influence.

This was really sad news though we have been able to see that president Faust
was getting older and weaker lately. President Faust was indeed a good example
and I will miss listening to him and even interperet his talks to Norwegian
during General Conferences.

We've never met President Faust in person, but that does not mean than we
can't love and respect him and count him a great blessing in our lives. We
have listened with interest and real intent as he has taught all of us through
the years. We hope we can live as he taught.

Pres. Fauset was always a great example to everyone. Our prayers are with you at

President Faust's current Ensign article was used as the lesson for our
Relief Society in Canton CT Sunday. He was truly a Man of God and will be
missed by all of us, especially President Hinckley and President Monson. My

My Thoughts and Prayers are with President Faust's family. I love President

President Faust was agreat man.He organized the Cape Coast Ghana Stake in 1991
and I can still remember most of the things he told us at that conference.We
will miss him.We wish Heavenly Father's peace to be with his family at this

Pres. Faust was well spoken and a terrific writer. He has inspired me over the
years with his frank yet loving admonitions to do better. He literally wore his
life out in the service of the Lord. The world is a little worse off today
because of his passing.

President Faust was a warm, wonderful, and spiritual giant among men. Our

In 1973, after a mission meeting, Elder Faust visited several missionaries in
Sao Paulo, Brazil who were sick in bed with hepatitis, of which I was one. He
knew how we felt, because he had been likewise afflicted when he was a
missionary in Brazil before WWII. I met him one more time after my mission in a
stake conference in Kingsport Tennessee almost a decade later. He clearly
remembered me and smilingly said, "Elder McClure, you sure were
yellow." I will always treasure both visits!

Ten years ago Pres. Faust paused on Main Street during a Saturday A.M. walk to
shake hands with my young daughter and speak encouraging words. What a good and

President Faust was a very sweet & kind person. I loved to listen to him at
General Conference & to read his inspiring words in the Ensign. He was an
example we all need to follow. When he would enter a room the spirit was so
strong. His love & tenderness that he had for his sweet wife was really

President Faust was such a kindly grandfatherly man. My family will sorely miss
him. His talk on Forgiveness this past conference was one my favorite talks
ever given in General Conference.

I remember him coming to a regional conference when I was 13 at Jerome High
School. Sweet manand heard him and President Hunter told Lawyer jokes. A sweet
reunion up there now. I wonder who his replacement will be once funeral is
over. His great work of course continues on the other side of the veil and the
caravan will move on over here.

I once met President Faust on the corner of South Temple and State Street. At
the time I had a goatee. I said Hello to him and he said hello back. Then he
grabbed my chin and asked me when I was going to shave!!! We have truly lost a
great leader and disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will be truly missed. Our
prayers are with his beloved wife and family at at this time.
