We ask too much from our Church members constantly. Many members are having a hard time themselves in this economy, and frankly our elected official are constantly thinking of ways to increase more revenue from the lowly tax payer. One item is trying to increase the gasoline tax. Another issue is illegal immigration that is draining our coffers. It is abusive to make indviduals feel guilty.If this is too abusive I am sorry.

I didn't know Joe Cannon was a writer. He might have actually been a good senator.

There have been poor people in Utah ever since the Mormons dispossessed the Utes and reduced them to poor living conditions. Wake-up, your selfishness and desire to get ahead at the expense of others is why there are poor people. I lived in Salt Lake from 2001-2004 so I know there are decent people among you.
