Card swapper | 6:24 p.m. Aug. 17, 2009
I love to card swap with my friends, and have a great time stamping with a "no holds bar" set. It's a blast! Plus, it's a creative way to release alot of energy when you can't go around decorating the whole house.

Stampin' Up! is the best. I have used other products and gone to other demonstrations, but always come back to SU. I've been a demonstrator/hobbyist for five years. You meet wonderful people and they become your wonderful friends; the friendships become binding. Stamping allows creativity...the sky is the limit; there is no end to what can be done with SUs quality products. Stamping is my passion and it causes me to s-t-r-e-c-h my abilities!! It raises my spirit. I especially like making cards, and love giving them away. Find a demonstrator, have a party, it will change your life. And, anyone can do it...I have seen many self-declared uncreative people make beautiful projects. Thanks to Shelli and the gang!!
(good article, too..wish I had been at convention!)

What a great article! So glad of the cropping feature on my backside in the photo.
Convention was so much fun, and I can hardly wait to see everyone again at Leadership in Phoenix, you don't want to miss it!

Stampin' Up! is the best and we had so much fun this year at convention. Thank you for a nice shot of my hands showing off the card I made during the make & take session at convention. I enjoyed speaking with you during your visit.

I have been a SU! demo for 5 year and will never let it go. I'm a "lifer" as they say. I don't ever see a time when I won't be with them . I love the product, I love the customer service and I love the friendships if made!
Karen Morgan | 12:32 a.m. Aug. 21, 2009
Stampin' Up! Convention is my favorite treat that I reward myself with every year! I've been to ten of them and wouldn't miss it! I love the friends I've made, the creative nature of it, and the business skills I've acquired. The card swaps are like frosting on the cake... sweet! Meeting co-founder Shelli Gardner each time helps us realize how important each one of us is to her personally. That is what it is all about! Create... Share... Inspire!

It was great to see that others whom are not demonstrators were there noticed the enjoyment, enthusiasm and sharing that was going on at convention. This was my 12th Convention and each year I think how can it get any better and it always surpasses my expectations. Thank you for publishing this article it was great reading what you saw and I will share with all.

I have such a great time at convention. I am so looking forward to next year.
I love making gifts for friends and family. One of the things I am really looking forward to is the digital studio. Scrapbooking has never really been my thing, but I think it will be so much easier doing it this way.
One side note, a group of us rent a house for convention and we have already rented it for next year. Can't Wait!!
Nickole Chiasson | 6:57 a.m. Aug. 21, 2009
I can't wait for My Digital Studio. Thank you for sharing this article with potential customers.

Marie Jonsson Circle | 9:08 a.m. Aug. 21, 2009
Great article on a great company! I don't think any of this uber-fun would be possible without the key help of their operations go-to guy, Curtis Johns!

Stampin' Up! is so awesome! Convention was Great! I always have such a good time. I am so excited for My Digital Studio, when I first seen it in the mini I thought ok...I can sell this, don't need it myself... THEN I seen it in action at Convention and it is a MUST HAVE! I am so excited and can't wait for it to be officially released. Thanks SU!!!
Linda du Kor | 12:07 p.m. Aug. 21, 2009
Great company and so grounded. How simple they are: It's family first! And everyone joins to be a part of their "family". Thanks for a great article that shows the spirit of this company!
Patty Chenail | 12:44 p.m. Aug. 21, 2009
One can not appreciate the excitement and commradary of SU! people unless you are one of us! They are a truly remarkable Company and Shelli Gardner is one of the most sincere and genuine people you will ever meet! Thanks for being at convention to report on such a wonderful organization!!
Angela | 2:40 p.m. Aug. 21, 2009
I wasn't able to make it to convention this year...=( Maybe next year! It's always good to see how happy everyone gets when we're together like that!
Ronalyn Eppinger | 5:19 p.m. Aug. 21, 2009
Due to poor health, I was unable to attend convention this year, but I plan on being there next year!! This is the first I have missed since I became a demonstrator five plus years ago. Love the company!!
Kristi Kelly | 5:28 p.m. Aug. 21, 2009
Stampin' Up is a wonderful company with great quality products. Shelli Gardener CEO has such an uplifting and inspiring spirit about her when she speaks, that she makes me want to do better in all areas of my life. The Convention is always exciting to attend. I always learn something new every year and meet new friends all over the world. The majority of the people that I have met there have been the kindest most helpful people I've meet any where. I'm hoping to make it to Convention this next year if I can get get it approved with the admin. at work.
Tamara | 6:13 p.m. Aug. 21, 2009
Convention is so special. We get to gather and make wonderful projects, meet new demonstraters and get new ideas to bring back home. I am so sorry I will not get to attend next year because it is the first week our school starts. I work in the school system and I don't think they will approve of me missing the first week, I wish SU! would do the convention in July.
Candy Diaz | 2:52 p.m. Aug. 22, 2009
This was my 10th or 11th convention. I just love swapping cards and meeting other stampers. As Faye above said, we have already reserved "our house" for next year. 12 or 13 of us share this huge house and we all bring shoebox projects to share, so we have non stop stamping and non stop eating and non stop fun.
Kevin Theesen | 12:46 a.m. Aug. 23, 2009
I was the FIRST MALE SU! Demonstrator back in Jan. 1996. This was my 14th Convention! I know there were SEVERAL males there this year, even some were interviewed for this article. My commment is that STAMPING is NOT for one gender or another! So when you see the WOMEN stampers in all the photos.... remember GUYS can stamp too! Looking forward to 15 years with STAMPIN' UP!
Thanks Shelli and the gang for having a HUGE HEART for all of us and LOVING what YOU do!!!

I have been a SU!demo for 4 years but this was my first convention and it was awesome. I just wanted to give a HUGE thanks to Salt Lake City. I have never been to your fabulous city before and my experience there was wonderful. From the hotel we stayed at, to the places where we ate, to the staff at the Salt Palace, everyone was very welcoming and the customer service was EXCELLENT everywhere! My time in SLC was enjoyable and I look forward to coming back to your city for convention for many years to come!
Laura Camacho | 12:30 p.m. Aug. 23, 2009
I have been a SU!demo for 10 years and I felt sorry for not attending this year's Convention but I am already excitingly working with the new Build-A-Bear workshop looking forward for be at convention next year!
Renette Hurley | 3:13 p.m. Aug. 23, 2009
I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for 10 years and dreaded the thought of missing this year's convention. My father wouldn't let me miss it---he drove me over 2,300 miles so that I could attend! He knows how much this wonderful company (family) means to me. Thanks to Stampin' Up! I have the most fun & rewarding job ever and more friends than than I could ever have imagined. They have taught me life lessons: confidence, humility, compassion, and above all finding time for myself. I wouldn't trade my experiences with Stampin' Up! for anything. Thanks for writing about Stampin' Up! It really is a wonderful company.

I love being part of the SU! family. Although I'm not creative, I feel creative by being a creative copier and that is allowed. I can't imagine my life without Stampin' Up! I have friends all over the world because of this 'job.' This is the first convention I've missed in 8 years. My sister MADE me go to the Bahamas instead. I'd rather have been at convention, really! The energy, creativity, the swaps, the friends...I missed that so much. I can't wait to go to our Leadership conference in January 2010, to get that energy you can only get from a SU! event. Thanks to Shelli and all the SU! staff. Okay, I'd better get back to work at my 'real' job. Lunch is over.
