I t is great that there is a place where kids can go.As a recovering addict I am fully aware of what my kids whent through during my addiction.I have been clean 2 and a half years know and my kids and and I talk honestly about what they whent trough.I am happy to say we are all much better today and we are looking forward to our future.

There is a world-wide program called "Alateen" that is just for kids like this. While a spin-off of Alcoholics Anonymous, it exists for teens of parents who are addicted to any type drugs. And there are meetings in probably any city or town in the world.

Alateen is for children of recovering alcoholics. Does it also address the issues with drug addiction? Many of the issues may be the same, but others are quite different.

This Koppir program sounds like the right idea. I am the legal guardian for 4 kids whose parents are recovering drug addicts.
