How about a little sympathy here? It is much, much harder to pay campaign debt if you loose the election. His past contributers now have nothing to gain. If he tries for public office again, maybe he will take a page out of Rep. Chaffetz book and not go into debt.

When Cannon was wanted and had clout, people was all over him. But now, he is old news.

This is the experience my wife and I got with the LDS church.

When we were active and paying our dues both in service and money, we were loved and welcomed with open arms. The Bishop was so happy and huggy-huggy type.

But when it comes time for us to need the church, we were left in the dust like a piece of trash.

Both the Stake President and the Bishop just wasn't that into you, borrowing the phrase from the book titled, "He's Just Not That Into You".

I've learnt from my experience, that all institutions, whether it's government or whatnot, you're only as important and as good as what they can get from you, afterwards when you don't have anything they can get from you, you're just a piece of trash.

This is the testimony of my wife and I, because it happened to us.

No. Utah sees a major earthquake every 350 years. Last one? 350 years ago.
