Originally all Mtn West games were going to be on what is now CBS Sports with perhaps some on Versus until some genius decided to split it up yet further with a 100% Mtn West channel. I think they should go back to that previous format (it would also greatly enhance the sports programming for those fairly weak sports channels) then the Mtn will be on about equal footing with ESPN for access to national TVs!

Nicly stated Scott! Cowherd has once again proven that facts are optional on his show and that he is, at best, shallow in his knowledge of the issues discussed on his program. BCS homers like Cowherd can only resort to changing the way the way a question is framed. It is the Cowherdly way!

It's not surprising that Collin "Coward" got it wrong. He works for the BCS partner in crime ESPN. You need say no more than that to recognize his comments as ridiculous and disingenuous.

Collin Cowpie works for ESPN, have you seen ESPN coverage of the Mountain West? Exactly there is no coverage on ESPN and if there is you have to watch the entire sport center to maybe see some MWC scores and no highlights. I will continue to support the Mountain and hope its quality and distribution improve. As an out of state fan I now can watch ever game on Direct TV which has been great.

The Mtn was never designed to, nor will it ever, compete with ESPN. To compare it to ESPN is "intellectually dishonest". If you would like a truer comparisson, the Mtn is like a cheap ppv channel.

Channels you can rightfully compare to ESPN would be CBS C and VS.

BYU might have less national exposure then they used to have, but Utah and the rest of the MWC has never before had so much air time. Access to MWC games is greater than it has ever been.

Since the ESPN propaganda channel has just about all but denied the existance of the MWC, one can debate whether the conference's national exposure has been hurt with the tv deal. But what you cannot debate is that more games than ever before, for the entire conference, are now availabe to anyone that wants to watch them.

Almost all MWC football games are available from coast to coast this year. The Big East, PAC 10, Big 12, and ACC cannot claim the same.

Way to go mtn.!!! Did they buy another camcorder quality camera to add to their existing 2 cameras? Awesome!! I look forward to their professional production and in depth commentary. I was stunned to find out Todd Christensen was a Cougar...his comments are alway so unbiased. I think it's great that the mtn. let's him do the games and also wear the Cosmo the Cougar outfit. I heard that Todd is Paul James love child...any truth?

Yeah Todd is a kitty and the worst hommer commentator. Listening to him call a game is almost as bad as listening to those fool on KSL radio call the game.

The Moutain has gotten better?!? - they are almost as good as PCTV - I think PCTV has better cameras though.

I think my forvite thing is that gigantic woman with man hands that does the half time show during mens basketball... she is quite handsome.

wow, MWC would be better to air all on CBS TV and VS! I don't pay too much with ESPN anymore because they are all biased and always wrong which school belongs to which conferance. I be shock to hear if they said BYU and Utah with the PAC10 today.

Here's more BCS nonsense for you: Harvey Perlman of Nebraska: "Utah should play a tough schedule like we do." Gee, Chancellor, I didn't know San Jose State and New Mexico State (sorry Las Cruces people, you were in my Mormon mission although I only served in Tucson and El Paso) were tough teams. Nebraska did also play a watered-down Virginia Tech (without Eddie Royal who's tearing it up for my Denver Broncos!) All BCS morons can do is spew and parrot rhetoric. They never bring up a valid point on message boards or anywhere else. The Justice Department will take care of the BCS. Count on it!

Perhaps what makes Cowherd more of an idiot is that he was the sports anchor in Las Vegas for a long time. They have a team like the Bee's there and UNLV. That's it. You think the dude would know a little more about the team he covered and who's in the same conference. Anyways, Cowherds a moron and he's racist too. If you have had the misfortune of watching "Sportsnation" you'll know what I'm taking about.

The last part of the article about Cowherd is classic!!! I normally like the guy except for when he talks about college football. His supposed logical arguments are so full of holes that you can see the pure emotion coming through. I hope someone sends this to him.

I have seen a couple of comments about how the MWC should just air all of their games on CBS C instead of Mtn. Uh... CBS C isn't that interested in MWC games. That's a little like saying Utah should just join the Pac-10. We are stuck with the Mtn. and it's "reach" of 7 million homes for the forseeable future (I think we just finished the 3rd year of the 10 year contract). I keep hoping that Mtn. relaxed their rates to get Cox on board and that Dish will follow soon. Not likely, but one can always hope.
