Ethics??? | 7:20 a.m. July 10, 2009
This fiscal attempt by the "Legislature Powers" only shows their determination to continue choosing their boundaries at the expense of the voters.

How can something like this ridiculous fiscal note happen in the first place?

Who directs the legislative analysts that determined the cost? Can they be fired for incompetence? What is $250,000 doubled?

@Ethics???: You might want to familiarize yourself with actual facts, numbers, and processes before you throw around charges that make you look foolish.

Actually, the story makes it sound like it was the Gov's Office that put the $1 million price tag on the initiative (not the Legis. Analyst as previous comment suggests).

Either way, though, $1 million is way too high. This really just shows how desperately the Ruling Party in both branches wants to cling to power.

If the Republicans really believe that their "product" satisfies more Utahns, they shouldn't have to gerrymander to win. Why are they so afraid of fair competition?

No. Utah sees a major earthquake every 350 years. Last one? 350 years ago.
