The poverty gap will decrease when there are no more rich on the globe, just poor, and a few puppet masters controling every aspect of our lives.
As for the global warming there has been no proof of the cause and its all speculation, but I think losing our forests have a larger impact than fossil fuel use. Loss of vegetation around the world is more of an impact that is too often ignored. We humans have claimed eminent domain of the world and recklessly develop it. Sometimes development and financial greed is the curse to the planet as we systematically destroy all other living matter.
Utah is a prime example of excessive and uncontrolled development where our resources are very limited.
