I served a mission 10 years ago in Ukraine. I am so happy to hear about this humanitarian service going on there. It is wonderful!

I am English and my husband and I work in Ukraine, fostering several Ukrainian children. It has been taking off for several years now and new fosters have to go on a course. There have also been several conferences (both by government and NGOs) regarding this in the last 18 months so the official probably thought 'Oh no not another one.'

Ukraine still has a long way to go, but are trying and are aiming to eventually get all children from the children's homes into foster care. This won't happen over night.
