Don't we teach anything in public schools any more?
This is targeted at "undrerepresented and underprivileged groups" which is code for wasting more money on people who largely are unemployed because they simply do not have a work ethic, and no amount of "job training" is going to fix that. They merely sit in classes and collect a check there instead of getting a welfare check for a while.
Utah should refuse to accept this money which is largely wasteful spending. Perhaps less wasteful if administered by Utah authorities, but in the other 13 states it is a luxury we cannot afford.
Just how many people will benefit from $387,000 being spent in Utah? Wouldn't it be cheaper to just pass out cash and not pretend to teach them job skills?
