50 billion dollars divided by 88,000 employees = $568,181.82 per employee. How can anyone possibly justify this?

I would sure like a bailout. It would take a signicantly lesser figure.

So does this mean that GM can still operate as GM only it will now stand for Government Motor's? Will the future cars be called the GM Marx One? I really can't believe this is happening in America. Can't we stop this bail-out of the banks, etc? Are we going to have to ask permission from the government to buy a house and a car? That may sound strong but with the banks being bailed out then the government will control the banks even more, thus we will be asking the government for these things when we apply for a loan. Something is gut-wrenching about all of it.

Our business went bankrupt in 2006 and 3 years later we are still struggling to get out.

But then we didn't have the US government paying our lawyers and making our debtors leave us alone.

I guess its no longer who you know but who takes your soul.

The free market should have been left alone to sort out the winners and loosers. Insted, meddlers have infused themselves in the market and have started the destruction of capitalism. As we move toward socialism and on to communisum, we have only our greedy, entitlement selves to blame. May America rest in peace. well, may we not be to weak to defend ourselves against enemies within and without.

There goes another GM stock. Then again, who cares about the little stockholders anymore?
