Sarah Palin is the Paris Hilton of politics. She clamors for attention and complains when it is not all favorable. Like a moth attracted to a flame, Palin will call the media to her, regardless of place or time, because she yearns to be in the spotlight.

Certainly, sexism is not appropriate. However, one must not confuse media coverage and critical examination with sexism in legitimate reporting. There continues to be speculation as to why Palin is leaving the governorship of Alaska mid-way through her first term.

However, speculation that she yearns for the bright lights of national politics is much like Hilton's on-and-off love affair with the Hollywood paparazzi. They both crave the limelight and the drug of public attention.

If Sarah Palin has any desire to do a TV show, to do speeches, to raise money, to earn money, whatever it's for, if she has any desire for a future, be it in politics, be it in media or whatever, she's going to have to do it in the Lower 48. She cannot do it in Alaska. It's not going to get it done.

Sorry "folks", Sarah Palin is folks. And we've had a lot of Presidents that were folks. And the folks love to confound the effete elitists, Sarah has a bright future, if she wants it. But coming down to the lower 48 is hard duty when she has everything a good person could want with her family. Is that why people hate her? The green eyed monster? First thing she has to do is make some money to get the monkeys off her back. Somehow, I think the folks are going to help her do that.

Study this woman's eyes.

Do they ever look peaceful, relaxed, ...?
Now look at a picture of the eyes of Charles Manson.

Eerie, isn't it? Chilling almost.

AND THE GOP CAN'T STOP THIS?. LOL at them all.
American demand for handguns has fueled a 28 percent jump this decade in world exports of pistols, rifles, shotguns?, here's why. The liberal brain fires in a totally different way, years and years and years of propaganda has robbed liberals of the ability to reason and think. They are programmed human robots. Somebody got hold of them, either in the sixties, in college, junior high, when they're watching cartoons on TV, Captain Planet, whatever it is, they don't think like we do. They just don't. They side with minorities. They believe that the majority in this country is corrupt, immoral, and unjust, and must pay. And the court system is how one of the many ways that the majority is going to pay. The tax system and redistribution is another way the majority is going to pay for all of the pain and suffering it has inflicted on the unions and on the minorities and so forth. This is how liberals think. The objective is just to simply exert power and the control over people. Why is it Palin can't stop it to?.

Sarah Palin on the issue's | 11:01 a.m. July 9, 2009
The radical Moderate, RINO / GOP right is so homophobic that they're blaming global warming on the AIDS quilt. You know there is a problem with the education system when you realize that out of the 3 R's only one begins with an R. The Obama White House looked into a plan that would allow illegal immigrants to stay in the United States. The plan called for 15 million Mexicans to marry 15 million of our ugliest citizens, and the GOP don't know how to handle this one?.

Hillary Clinton handled it.
Sarah Palin quit.

America cannot afford to elect a president that will quit.

American politics is a blood sport. Go back two hundred years and read some of the speeches and essays. Yiikes!!! Some of them were just brutal. Anyone who wants in had better have a very thick skin, a good sense of humor, and a strong self confidence. All others stay on the sidelines.

@Gus Talwynd 1:23 a.m.: "She clamors for attention..."

That's what politicians do. No shrinking violet ever got anyplace in the political arena.

The truth of the matter is that the liberal democrat leaning media knew they had to pounce on this woman early on and totally destroy her. She appeared to be too much of a threat to their golden boy, the Messiah, Barry Soetoro of Mombasa, Djakarta. And it worked as they knew it would. And they continue to attack because she continues to show significant political potential even as she resigns the governorship.

Let me see, Limbaugh called Chelsea "the White House dog." Sounds pretty vitriolic to me.

And Chelsea never got "knocked up."

Perhpas you are right - because conservatives were never as bad as Obama at spending or as hypocritcal and viscious as feminists in attack mode.
Obama et al has very eloquently illustrated the real problem, despite the media whitewash.

the eyes never lie | 9:22 a.m.

I think her eyes just show intensity. What's wrong with that?

I interview a lot of people for jobs and I expect them to show some non-verbal signs of drive and intensity. She's got it.

I don't expect a candidate in a job interview to be relaxed, mellow, no sign of intensity in his eyes (like he took too many valum or just finished smoking a joint).

In the picture above she's giving an intense speach intended to motivate people. Do you really expect her eyes to look all mild, demure and docile?
