One of the great things about music is that the same piece of music can have many different, interesting interpretations. Not everyone will like every piece or every interpretation, but that is the nature of music. I love our directors, our leadership, the other choir members, and our orchestra, and I love the music we perform, even if I would prefer one interpretation over another in some instances. Dr. Wilberg is, I believe, one of the most skilled and preeminent choral conductors, if not the most skilled and preeminent choral conductor, in the entire world. We are so blessed to have him.

As has previously been pointed out, many of the issues about long notes result from the limits and requirements of broadcasting and timing. Please keep that in mind. What a wonderful gift God has given to the world in music!

Untrained and awkward artists sometimes go overboard and engage in sentimentalism. The Current Director of the Choir tends to do that much more than the previous director.
