No reason to keep him around if he has one foot out the door. Let him go and lets get an extra roster spot available.
James, is RSL looking in the MLS for replacements, or are they scouting Europe or SA?

Congrats to Yura! He deserves the opportunity. Now it is absolutely important that RSL go out and sign a forward or two with available roster spots. Make a splash not some USL scrub.

Young Judas is going to hear it from my section if he ever sets foot on the pitch at Rio Tinto again. He was given a lot at RSL and gave very little in return.

Way to be Yura, Europe is a big step. Congrats!!!
Talk of Europe | 7:36 a.m. July 9, 2009
Let's burst the "Europe is the greatest" bubble. Spain, England, Germany and a few other leagues are definitely a cut above. But not every country's league is better than MLS (though they may have a very strong team or two).

Movsisyan wants to play in Europe. Fine. But that doesn't mean the league he's chosen is better than MLS or that Randers is better than RSL.

He doesn't care about anyone outside the club? Good grief. Without fans, is there a club? Or a paycheck?
What? | 7:40 a.m. July 9, 2009
He has given very little in return? How about when he scored the all important goal to send up into the playoffs? It sucks he's leaving, but only if he stays and dogs it will he hear boos from me.

Everyone says he is going to play for a smaller league, but doesn't that show his commitment to want to play in europe, congrats to the guy, if I had the opprotunity I would totally play in Denmark if it meant one day getting to one of the bigger leagues.

While the league Yura is going to is not as good as the MLS, Europe is Europe. He gets to play in the Europa league, which will get him noticed by major clubs if he plays well.
If I was in his position, I would do the same thing.
And as of late, he has been one of our best players, so he has given plenty to the team.

Intersting fact.
According to the international federation of football history and statistics, they rank the Dannish league 18 in the world, while the MLS is ranked 77 in the world.
Which would you rather play in?
Fact or opinion? | 10:26 a.m. July 9, 2009
Not sure if the International Federation of Football History and Statistics even knows what MLS is, in its short existence.

I think the stadium Yura is going to play in holds like 12,000. Small beans, good riddance.

Take your blue shoes with you. Worst shooter to don an RSL Jersey.
Its funny | 11:06 a.m. July 9, 2009
The guy scores the most important goals for us, is on a little hot streak, and EVERYBODY, and yes i mean everybody, from other clubs/media say the guy is a handful. Yet, we here bash him as soon as he takes a step forward in his career. While the MLS might not rank 77th, it doesnt have the same appeal as the Danish leauge in almost every category. Sure we have a stadium that seats more, but they have a stadium that is louder and more passionate. He will get paid more, he will play in Europa leauge (not the greatest, but huge exposure if you advance far), he will live in a place where footballers (real footballers) are loved by all, not maybe a third of the country. What about this moved DOESNT make sense for Yura? RSL got plenty from the guy and probably should have worked on signing him longer earlier on, if that was at all possible.
Congrats to Yura, very well done, and yes you gave this team a lot, even if some are too blind to see it
I don't doubt its a great move.. | 2:02 p.m. July 9, 2009
...but I don't have to love the guy.

Yura was not our answer. Not lasst year, not this year, and not never year. Yeah, he scored a lucky goal(s) to get us into the playoffs, but a real forward would have buried all of the other wasted chances that Yura blew.

I still argue we don't have a true goal scorer. Its not Espy, not Mathis, not Findely, not Andy, not Will, not Tino.

I hope RSL has something up their sleeve, because if Yura is/was our most dangerous weapon.....we will struggle even more than we have.
congrats | 3:47 p.m. July 9, 2009
The moe success the MLS - Real has the bettet it is for everyone.
We are looking for a player | 3:58 p.m. July 9, 2009
I am the coach for my son's co-ed 8U team. We really lack talent. The kids keep touching the ball with their hands, which is a NO-NO in soccer.

I have tried to recruit a couple of neighbor kids and some kids from my cub den to play, but some of the girls on the team are better, so they do not want to look bad.

Maybe a couple of the RSL guys could play for my team. I really need a goalie, we keep giving up A goal every game. I let all the kids play, since they all want to try to use their hands at least a game or 2, but none of them are any good.

I have spent a lot of time slicing oranges, putting them in the cooler with Sunny Delight and have even tried Capri Sun, but I think we are keep ending in a tie because we lack talent.

Last time I checked danish league teams weren't playing friendlies against top European clubs (Chelsea, Celtic, Everton). I think I'd rank MLS a little higher than that. So I don't think your source is even credible.
