Wow 14 days add up the man hours to prosecute him and all of the court cost subtract the $500 and wow the tax payers are in the hole $10,000 or more. Hope they let him out early and maybe he can just call it a jailcation. But give him a record so he can never get a decent job. Good job DA.

He knowingly violated the law and someone ended up dead due to his conduct. Just let him off with nothing and don't conduct any type of investigation. Maybe we should just abolish all laws since offenders always cost the taxpayers. That would make everything better...right?

It isn't about economics. It's about justice being served and trying to make a bad situation a little better. Hopefully kids will listen when he talks to them and realize that underage drinking is dangerous and sometimes deadly.
