I can't wait to see when everyone qualifies for
Medicad. It doesn't pay or you can have half of
the oxygen you need in a month. If you use it
up, you die. Good luck treating the poor like
crap. America your next!
We needed a one payer system, not rationed health
care like medicade. At least everyone will suffer, and not just the poor. It's about time middle
class gets a clue. The rich never will.
More taxes | 5:44 a.m. July 7, 2009
There is no such thing as a reform on health care. To associate health care with insurance is misleading and manipulated information. Real health care reform would attack the providers and the monopoly in excessive costs. Insurance is no guarantee of health care but it does guarantee an escalating tax every year to pay for it.

This fixation to socialize is beyond comprehension and the duty of government is to not socialize any programs or taxes to fund it.

Why do these poor think they are entitled to taxation to take care of them? It seems no one has to earn what they get, now they just call on government for their care. Life is hard for all, even the ones that aren't sick and it is disgusting that the american people think government owes them. We the people are the government and government is not the care takers of our health and welfare.

Meanwhile, while we argue about insurance, the benefactors, health care providers, are laughing all the way to the bank and board room of investors.

Change now from Fear Coverage to Care Coverage in the Health Industry is needed.

Rememember how the Banks complained when Credit Unions were introduced?

Many people benefited from service and loans from credit unions when they were refused them from banks.

The Healthcare system should be changed to Focus on Care instead of Profit.

The government recieves more money from Healthcare industry taxes by quantity of visits instead of Quality of Care.

Keeping people sick is the way of profit in the current system.

To change it the Government needs to take control of it and make it quality focused.

American private industry output (capitalists) will do better when they have more healthy employees able to work. Profits can then soar.

Government will have a larger focus on where the money flow does go when it is paying for the system.

It will be to their interest to eliminate causes of people getting sick. It will expect quality care for the money.

Greed has stopped this change from happening by payouts to our elected officials from the greedy in the medical industry.

Change Healthcare Now from a profit industry to caring non profit system.

Socialists? | 9:04 a.m. July 8, 2009
I am all for voluntary assistance to the poor and disabled.

However, it seems that this advocacy group is dedicated to imposing socialist solutions to the problems.

They sure are generous with OPM (Other Peoples' Money).

Their health care changes will only degrade the quality and quantity of treatment for everyone, and result in rationing, and earlier deaths.

The number of 47 million uninsured was politically generated. Obama wants to fund this government take-over by taxing health care benefits which will have unintended consequences. He will continue to get the best medical care as will the congress.

To "Anonymous | 5:26 p.m." but if we get a national healthcare system, we will have rationing. National healthcare does not mean that you get any and all treatments you may want or need. It meas that now the government gets to tell you, sorry, you have to wait 6 months for that new hip.

Fatty burgers being served at a health care reform dinner? How ironic.

Absolutely! It's always been easy for Democrats to be compassionate, with someone else's money!

"However, it seems that this advocacy group is dedicated to imposing socialist solutions to the problems."

Wow. Congrats on that witty and original analysis of the issue.

MadoffHealthPlan | 3:57 p.m. July 8, 2009
So Madoff breaks the law and steals billions. His reward is free healthcare for the rest of his life in prison.

Meanwhile 50 million americans are obeying the law without healthcare.

Where is the incentive to obey the law?

To "MadoffHealthPlan | 3:57 p.m." are you willing to trade your freedom for free healthcare, just like Madoff?
Freedomwhere? | 7:25 p.m. July 8, 2009
True Freedom exists in a society that is focused on love and charity based on true ethics.

Freedom cannot exist is a society that is focused on hate and greed based on bad ethics.

Bad ethics exist in a system that only rewards the rich and the wicked.

The current health system reflects bad ethics.

Insanity is doing the same thing day after day expecting different results. The current private healthcare system is corrupt.

A broken car does not give a person the freedom as a fixed car. The Health car is broken and needs to be fixed by a new design.

Then people will have more freedom.
