Infants and toddlers | 5:59 a.m. July 7, 2009
In most homes and families a toddler is happy playing on the floor with the pots and pans in the cupboards. They would at least serve some purpose for having them. Children learn more from parents than they can ever get from any expensive toy, game, or puzzle. Forcing them to learn and associate their feeling with toys is wasting a very young person.

Gaggles of electronics are a waste of time and money and are not an investment. These children would rather be playing with their parents and getting some real education. Children need physical response and emotional feed back from parents, not lights flashing on some obscure robotic toy. Infants and toddlers need parents, not toys they don't understand or can't get any emotional response from. Love is touchy feely to infants, not set off in a corner and to ignore them.
